Coinciding with Veterans Day weekend, members of JWV Post 54 met with 9th grade students from Congregation Etz Chaim with a few parents at Oak Ridge Jewish cemetery in Hillside, IL. In what has become an annual event, students and post members identified the last resting places of veterans on Sunday, Nov. 10th, and placed U. S. flags on the grave.
Returning to Etz Chaim in Lombard, IL, members answered questions from students about their experiences in the military as Jews, and the military in general.
